Located in Corsicana, Texas, the Grand Lodge I.O.O.F. of Texas was chartered by the Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows on September 22, 1841 and serves as the headquarters for all Odd Fellow Lodges in Texas. The current administration offices are housed in the building formerly utilized for the I.O.O.F. Widows and Orphans Home.


The Grand Lodge of Texas was incorporated in 1877 and is a 501c(8) non-profit organization.


In addition to overseeing the operation of the Texas Odd Fellow Lodges, the Grand Lodge of Texas also owns and operates the I.O.O.F. Retirement Center in Ennis, Texas, which is managed under the direction of the W. & O. Homes Board of Trustees, and the I.O.O.F. Event Center in Corsicana, Texas, which is managed under the direction of the Grand Lodge Board of Trustees.


The Grand Lodge Administration building is home to the I.O.O.F. of Texas Museum and also houses endless records utilized for genealogy and membership searches.


An annual session of the Grand Lodge of Texas is held in March of each year for the purpose of electing officers and adopting a budget for the ensuing fiscal year. All members of the Grand Lodge must be Past Grand members and must receive the Grand Lodge Degree before they can attend the Grand Lodge’s annual session.



The Grand Lodge consists of the Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Grand Warden, Grand Secretary, Grand Treasurer, Grand Chaplain, Grand Marshal, Grand Conductor, Grand Guardian, Grand Herald, two Grand Representatives to The Sovereign Grand Lodge, Past Grand Masters, Past Grands, and Representatives from every Odd Fellow Lodge.
